Opera Manhattan Repertory Theatre, New York’s “company by artists for artists,” continues its annual tradition of Hansel and Gretel performances with a new, interactive, delightfully scary production that opens December 23 at the Acorn Theatre. Beth Greenberg will direct.
Kids age 7 and up will be able to take part in the show on stage, including meeting Hansel and Gretel themselves and throwing snowballs at the Witch. Shows will begin with a brief introduction designed for kids (and their parents)about Hansel and Gretel, including some of the memorable tunes to sing along with, and when to applaud and say “Bravo!” and “Brava!”.
All performances will be at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row, 410 W 42nd St, New York.
Tickets will be $25.00 each, using the code TRFUN25. Call Telecharge at 212-947-8844, or click this link! Use code TRFUN10 for $10 children’s tickets, when buying at least one adult ticket.
